The average person has $9 million in dental insurance, according to a study by the National Association of State Dental Boards (NASDBA).
However, according the NASDBA, this figure is a “conservative estimate”.
It said that, if people had to choose, the average person would prefer to have $6 million in insurance, and $1 million in coverage, as compared to $9.3 million for dental insurance.
The NASDBC’s study was released in February and found that, over the past 15 years, the number of people who have suffered a dental injury and died from the same cause has more than doubled.
The number of dental malpractices has also doubled, the NASLBA said.
The study also found that there has been a 30% increase in dental injuries and deaths since the mid-1980s, and an 8% increase since 2001.
The numbers are similar to those recorded by the American Association of Dermatologists, which said that there were 8,500 dental injuries per 100,000 Americans in 2016, with an average of 4,200 people per year dying from a dental accident.
